The CTE-Bi is an entirely pneumatic leak detector that allows you to test the tightness of blister packs or pouches, typical of the pharmaceutical industry, by means of vacuum and the migration of a tracer product called methylene blue.
 
It is composed of an entirely pneumatic and enclosed system which, fed by compressed air, creates a pressure difference between the inside and the outside of your sample. ACRN has standard cover boxes (see prices and options) but also makes custom-made boxes according to the customer's needs.
 
Your product is immersed during this test in a methylene blue type dye thanks to a perforated grid attached to the lid. A leak is detected if the methylene blue has infiltrated inside the sample during the return to atmospheric pressure.
