Produced by SABIC, Noryl is a polymer blend of polyphenylene oxide PPO2 and impact polystyrene (SB). Providing a good balance of mechanical and chemical properties, Noryl is used in a wide range of applications: fluid transport, electrical and electronics, defense, security, protection, railways, medical, etc.
Ideal for injection molding of large parts or for extrusion, this PPO technopolymer is also known for its excellent resistance to hydrolysis, its good mechanical properties up to 120°C, its good resistance to temperature creep, etc.
The Noryl range includes: NORYL filled with glass fibers from 10 to 35%, NORYL for drinking water applications (ACS), UL94 V0 flame-retardant NORYL, NORYL GTX (PP0/PA), NORYL PPX (PPO/PP). It complies with ACS, drinking water, KTW, UL 94 V0 and WRAS standards.
