The ever-increasing demand for compact and flexible pneumatic components has led to the development of the Aircomp MP 160 range of solenoid valves.
The MP 160 can be considered a true integrated control system. In addition to its ease of installation and high performance, we have placed great emphasis on design during the design phase.
The creation of this range of solenoid valve islands, which combines high performance with a strong aesthetic character, has been made possible by the use of technopolymer in the realization of all the main components.
The wide availability of modules in various possible configurations makes it possible to respond optimally to every type of requirement, while the integration of the electrical connections of the solenoid valves drastically reduces the wiring time of the battery.
The possibility of assembling up to 16 bistable solenoid valves allows for maximum rationalisation in the pneumatic implementation of any system.
Finally, even the final layout of the complete battery confirms the great flexibility of this product. You can choose between two fixing systems; by means of DIN bars or with feet.
The MP 160 range of batteries has been designed to guarantee maximum reliability over time. In order to ensure a pneumatic hold on all the stressed elements, we have adopted a traditional "tie-rod" type assembly system.
To guarantee the transmission of the electrical signal, even in the presence of vibration, we have chosen to use a single rigid electronic board.
The solenoid valve control solenoids can be easily checked even when the battery is installed, by simply removing the upper casing made up of a single integrated module. All configuration and control operations are possible from outside the installed battery. The manual controls of each solenoid valve and their LED for visual control are cleverly positioned on the upper part of the cover.
All the pneumatic connections are equipped with built-in push-in fittings and are positioned to facilitate the assembly of the tubes.
The electrical connection of the system consists of a 25 or 44 pin SUB-D connector, depending on the dimensions of the battery.
This distribution island can be considered as a real motion control system, thanks to the possibility offered by the wide range of specific modules to quickly meet all requirements.
The large number of stations for a single module (up to 16 bistables), allows the maximum rationalisation of the pneumatic layout of each application. A simple and safe multi-pole connection system avoids tedious electrical wiring on the module, limiting installation time to a minimum.
The electronic part is located in the top cover (IP65) which can be removed with great ease.
Visual control of the status of the valves can be carried out directly, thanks to the clearly visible LEDs on the upper part, positioned next to the manual controls.
The mounting options are various; it is possible to fix the module on a panel using special feet, or to mount it on a DIN rail using a simple Kit.
We have chosen to supply the valve island already assembled to the customer's specifications, so that we can guarantee pneumatic and electrical testing to standard parameters. The composition of the battery is done using the guide below.
The reference is the "speaking" element in which all the information concerning the island is concentrated.

The complete battery will be given an identification code, which will make it possible to recommend the product quickly and safely at any time, clearly identifying the version.
