All elobau’s joysticks are of modular design and can be configured separately for the x and y axis; they also come in different sizes and designs – depending on requirements. In the mechanism the operating magnets and sensor housings are separated which means that all the different versions comply with protection class IP 67. The output signals are emitted from a built-in Hall chip as current, ratiometric voltage, voltage or digital/redundant-analog CAN or redundant CAN. All our joystick designs are available in both the EMV standard for industry (10 V/m) and the EMV standard for the automotive industry (200 V/m).
The angular operating range is ±20°. The operating principle is non-contacting :
- analogue: rotating magnetic field over hall-sensor
- digital : reed technique.
Short circuit-proof with analogue version (short circuit duration: unlimited).
J3 has a 4 PIN Molex 5557 connector, alternatives on request.
