SES soldering wire is an alloy of 60% tin from prime molten material. The soldering wire comprises 4 internal cores containing the soldering flux. Soldering residues do not need to be removed as they offer additional protection against humidity by insulating resin deposits.
Neverthless, should removal of residue be necessary for aesthetic or other reasons, it can be very easily removed with a methyl alcohol impregnated swab. 4 cores are the best guarantee for good continuity in soldering flux diffusion.
