Ovako supplies grinding rods and grinding balls for mining and minerals processing industry.

Grinding rods
Grinding rods are delivered in as rolled, straightened condition. The grinding rod steel is type 1,0% C 1,4% Cr. The dimensions range is from Ø75 mm to 120 mm. The hardness range is 340 – 400 HBW.

Grinding balls
Grinding balls are delivered as rolled or in quenched and tempered condition. The standard grinding ball steel A810 is type 0,83% C, 0,8% Mn, 0,3% Cr.Hardness in quenched and tempered
