DALI-ELS - Light control system

DALI-ELS controls the power of the fluorescent lamp(s) per luminaire in accordance with the luminance (brightness) of the surface area illuminated by the luminaire.
DALI-ELS comprises a light sensor based on an LDR (Light-Dependent Resistor), a control unit and a standard DALI electronic ballast.

APPLICATION: Energy savings for most luminaires types, including Luxial downlights.

FIELD OF MEASUREMENT:
- Minimum area of measurement on the floor: 6 m² (suspension height 2,7 m)
- Control is not noticeably influenced by the surroundings.

SETTINGS:
The standard factory setting results in an average illuminance value of ca. 500 lux at work plan heigh in a typically lit office.
Sensitivity of the light-sensor is adjustable by turning an adjusting ring.
Turning to the left results in a higher lighting level, turning to the right in a lower lighting level.
Miniature switches allow presetting to 4 calibrated light levels.
