ELS controls the power of the fluorescent lamp(s) per luminaire in accordance with the luminance (brightness) of the surface area illuminated by the luminaire.
ELS consists of a continuously adjustable lightsensor based on an LDR (Light-Dependent Resistor) and a standard dimming electronic ballast with analogue control of 1-10V.
APPLICATION: Energy savings for all types of fluorescent luminaires for functional lighting.
FIELD OF MEASUREMENT
- Minimum area of measurement on the floor: 6 m² (suspension height 2,7 m)
- Control is not noticeably influenced by changes in the surroundings.
SETTINGS:
The standard factory setting results in an average illuminance value of ca. 500 lux at work plan heigh in a typically lit office.
Sensitivity of the light-sensor is adjustable by turning an adjusting ring (ca. 5% per turn).
Turning to the left results in a higher lighting level, turning to the right in a lower lighting level.
