MDD - Movement dependent dimming

DESCRIPTION:
MDD is a control system that dims the light for each luminaire, depending on the movement under the luminaire.

APPLICATION:
MDD is energy-saving and is suitable for use in open offices.

OPERATION
- MDD dims the power of the fluorescent lamps to a set level for each luminaire and as a function of detected presence.
- As long as movement is detected, the lamp operates on normal level. If, after a waiting time of approximately 15 minutes no movement is detected, the lamp is slowly dimmed to the lower set level. One mouvement is detected again, the lamp power increases to the normal level.
- MDD is made up of a movement detector, based on a passive infrared principle with a standard dimmable electronic ballast with analogue control 1-10V.

FIELD OF MEASUREMENT:
Minimum zone of measurement on the floor: 9-16 m² (suspension height 2,7 m) .
