Construction:

The machine has a completely thermallysymmetric design regarding the machine base as well as the headstock.

The rigidity of the bar kinematics is far higher than that of the traditional compound slide. This leads to remarkable improvement of surface quality and tolerances, especially when hard turning.

The freely moveable pick-up spindle performs all movements with the workpiece, during processing and tool changing.

Movements in all 3 dimensions simplify the workpiece transfer, making it a speedy and low-cost procedure. Due to the construction principle of parallel kinematics the Y axis is part of the basic version of V100.
