Kaba presents the new B-Net 93 20 time and attendance terminal - an entry level terminal for time recording providing the user with a set of possibilities.
With its rounded shape and appealing design, it complements the new B-Net Terminal Series introduced by Kaba early in the year. Small and compact - the little brother of the B-Net 93 40 and B-Net 93 60 Terminals is especially suitable for small and medium-sized time and attendance solutions, where a graphic display with a resolution of 240 x 40 pixels is sufficient for information display.
The terminal can also be used in subsidiaries of larger enterprises.
The parameterizable B-Net 93 20 has 5 function keys that cover all standard
time recording functions. It can store 200 master records and 4,000 booking records. More master records are possible, e.g. 1,000 master records and 4,000 booking records or 2,000 master records and approx. 8,000 booking records. Because of its protection class of IP 54 and the optional heater it is also suitable for outdoor installation. The terminal is fitted with an Ethernet interface, and thanks to modular programming, can optionally be easily integrated using RS485 into existing partyline cabling. The terminal can optionally be equipped with two relays. In this case it can be used as door opener for an access control system. Another option is the extended data input via an alphanumeric keypad. For instance if the employee is absent with reason, he or she can call up a list and select the appropriate reason. For data recording, common reading systems such as LEGIC, inductive, mag-stripe, Mifare, Hitag, etc. are available.
The easy-to-handle terminal can be combined with other devices of the B-Net or Bedanet Series. And, like all other B-Net devices, set-up and maintenance is standardized because the 93 20 is based on the same software concept. Software update of the B-Client HR1 terminal application can easily be carried out via Internet or Intranet. The terminal application as well as an additionally installed service mode can be restarted remotely.
