Pfeiffer Vacuum, a leading provider of vacuum technology, is launching the new SpeedAir 3050 leak tester, a complete solution for testing non-porous containers in the pharmaceutical industry. It impresses with its speed, as it delivers accurate results in just 30 to 45 seconds. It is equally suitable for flexible and rigid containers as well as liquid and solid products.
The SpeedAir is characterised in particular by its highly sensitive air-based technology when testing liquid products. This ensures reproducible and reliable results, minimising the risk of false negative or false positive test results.
The device fulfils all industry standards and uses the recognised Mass Extraction Technology according to USP <1207>. It also works with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software, which ensures that the test procedures meet the highest regulatory standards.

Pfeiffer Vacuum presents a vacuum calculation tool that can be used to identify specific vacuum products for the respective application. Furthermore, evacuation and pump-down curves can be examined and various calculations for self-configured solutions can be performed.
"With our new vacuum calculator, we want to make several decisions easier for our clients. When looking for the right vacuum solution, they only need to enter the technical parameters into the tool and the matching products will be displayed. In addition, different calculations can be made for existing pumping solutions," explains Daniela Kunzig. This makes it possible to find several vacuum solutions and compare them with each other.
