Option „ECOsleep“ for sliding table saws and shapers

With the new ECOsleep package, MARTIN can now reduce the energy consumption of all shapers and sliding table saws with a touchscreen controller up to 15%. This increase in energy efficiency is achieved by a combination of energy saving and more efficient work processes. The ECOsleep package consists of a special “sleep“ mode. The operator can input a specific “shut down” time in the controller; for example, 30 minutes. The machine will then disconnect itself from its power supply, dim its display and the words “MARTIN ECOsleep” appear on the touchscreen, indicating to the operator that it has “gone to sleep“. This prevents the operator from thinking that the machine is totally switched off.

By touching the display he “awakens” the controller/machine within seconds. This is the great advantage of the MARTIN ECOsleep package. Systems that are less intelligent cut the controller off at the main switch. This can often be a disadvantage because the machine must reboot. This can be a very time consuming procedure. With the MARTIN solution the machines are “awakened” within seconds and are ready to operate.
