The robot LBR IIWA was developed to reproduce the appearance of the human arm. Its low weight, its seven axes and slim profile make it the ideal robot for narrow spaces and easy to integrate into production lines.
The robot IIWA LBR is designed to handle payloads up to 14 kilograms, making KUKA first company to offer a lightweight robot able to handle more than 10 kilograms.
It can be programmed into position by manual learning and by force on the trajectory . Thanks to deep integration of sensors , the sensitivity of the robot is indefinitely configurable during the process. These innovative technologies enable the robot to perform delicate assemblies.
The robot LBR IIWA also includes several collaborative features that allow the robot to work safely with humans . With a high level of safety, the KUKA controller safely supervises the position, the speed and force of the robot.
