Laminates are used in a wide range of sectors and industries, including glass, foundry, household appliances, special machinery, thermoforming, chemical and automotive industries.
There are several types of laminated insulators, such as
LAMINATES, PHENOPLAST BASE:
- Bakelise Paper: A laminate material consisting of layers of KRAFT paper impregnated with phenolic resin, bonded together under high pressure.
- Bakelise Fine Cloth: Laminate consisting of layers of high strength fabric impregnated with phenolic resin, heat bonded under high pressure.
- Baton Moule toile Bakelise: Laminated cylinder obtained by rolling up a fine cotton fabric, impregnated with phenolic resin. The whole is then polymerised under hot pressure in a mould to obtain a moulded stick.
LAMINATES, GLASS FABRIC BASE:
- EPOXY glass fabric - Type FR4 and G11: Laminate made from self-extinguishing epoxy resin and glass fabric.
- Glass fabric POLYMIDE : Laminate composed of a glass fabric impregnated with a thermosetting polymide resin and cured at high temperature and pressure.
- Glass fabric Silicone resin: Laminate of glass fabric and a silicone resin for mechanical and electrical applications with a temperature index of 220°C
LAMINATES, GLASS MAT BASE:
- Glass mat POLYESTER* GP02- GPO03: The glass mat polyester is composed of a glass reinforcement agglomerated by a self-extinguishing polyester resin. It has high mechanical and dielectric properties.
- EPOXY glass mat: Laminate composed of a glass mat reinforcement agglomerated by a self-extinguishing resin.
