The FlamViewer FV-F-17 from Oil & Gas Technologies proposed by INNOVIDEA allows the detection and visualization of all types of flames including hydrogen or methanol invisible to the naked eye. It includes an infrared thermal camera (7.5 to 12µm) with a resolution of 640x480 pixels in Onvif digital and analog (PAL/NTSC) output format and an embedded software.
The FV-F-17 can detect, day and night, even without smoke, up to 5 fires simultaneously. It avoids false alarms and also allows to detect fires before they occur thanks to its algorithms (taking into account random movements of flames, thresholding and abnormal temperature increase).
The following functional characteristics offer great flexibility of integration and use to security managers of sensitive sites;
- 3 types of alarms can be generated; visual alarms superimposed on the screen, dry contacts, Modbus to DCS from the video management software
- Optional services: SMS or email, video streaming (internet/intranet), wireless data/video transmission
- Power supply via solar panels
Available in different optics (8.5, 14, 19, 25, 35, 60, 135mm) and housing versions (standard, ATEX class 1 or 2), the FV-F-17 can detect a 1m² fire up to 2km away or manage a flare. This system is designed for the petrochemical and gas industries, for the hydrogen industry, for the fire department or fire school.
