The µLight Gen II microscopy illumination source was designed to facilitate phase imaging in transmission microscopy. With 59 pixels that can be adjusted in intensity and color, it can be easily installed on any microscope without modification.

µLight Gen II offers the user the possibility to use not only conventional observation techniques (brightfield, darkfield, Rheinberg, phase contrast) but also more advanced techniques such as real-time or anomalous differential phase contrast, 3D holography, Fourier ptycography,...

The complete kit includes:
- the illumination source itself,
- a low voltage controller (5V),
- a µLight control software (SDK available) allowing the programming of illumination sequences by macro-functions
