Gas Engine Management: KRONOS 30

Digital, full authority, electronic mixture control system, with optional integrated speed/load control. A self-sufficient metering system, combined with an integrated ? controller, allows almost any desired gas/air ratio to be configured, independently from the gas mixer. The metering system allows for very fast stabilization of disturbance variables. The system does not require a zero-pressure controller. There are no limitations on the mixer configuration when using lean gases.

The power feedback guarantees precise stabilization of the gas/air mixture under all operating conditions, and avoids the disadvantages associated with ? probes when using critical gases.

Well suited for applications with very high fluctuations in gas quality; suitable for use in multi-gas systems.

Ideal for large lean-mix engines with highly variable ? characteristics. Because it is independent of the gas mixer, the system is suitable for low-energy gases, such as wood gas and methane,Power range: from 200 kW to 3 MW.

The gas metering system can be positioned before or after the turbo-charger.
