The Defender 510 and Defender 520 bios are the next generation of patented DryCal® primary airflow calibrators with near-frictionless technology for industrial hygiene and environmental health and safety applications.

All of the Bios DryCal® technology in the DC-Lite and DC-2 digital flowmeters is available in the Defender 510, 520 and 530+ calibrators which make it easier than ever to calibrate air sampling pumps, rotometers or 'other debit instruments. Depending on the model, measure volumetric flow or standardized flow, which corrects temperature and pressure to calibrate devices that read mass flow.

Using patented DryCal technology, the Defender 500 Series calibrators incorporate features that immunize them against the pulsation of the flow source without the need for in-line dampers.

Turn it on, connect it to a sample pump or an instrument being calibrated, and start taking measurements. It's that simple. Calibrations are done quickly without a messy soap bubble solution that requires waiting or cleaning.

The Defender 510 and 520 can take hands-free continuous measurements while quickly and precisely adjusting the flow rate on air sampling pumps or other instruments. Defender calibrators connect to any PC and pre and post calibration data can be downloaded using DryCal® Pro software.
