The heated FID 3-500 is the low cost version of our 3-300A analyzer which has been sold thousands of times in over 3 decades. The 3-500 was introduced to the market when a number of long-term users requested a lower cost but fully compliant heated FID analyzer to be
integrated into their EMC systems.
Like all of our other heated FIDs, the 3-500 is a highly reliable, extremely forgiving and rugged table-mount or rack-mount heated total hydrocarbon analyzer. Designed for very low drift, high precision, sensitivity and stability. The 3-500 uses a hydrogen flame ionization (FID) detector in a heated furnace to prevent the loss of high molecular weight hydrocarbons and to provide reliable performance in analyzing high concentrations up to levels very low concentrations of gaseous carbonaceous organic contaminants in emissions, air and other gases and high purity gases. All parts and components containing the sample are discreetly integrated into an easy-to-maintain heated chamber. The disposable heated sample filter is easily accessible in the rear panel and can be changed with a standard Allen key
The detector's combustion air supply is integrated. No air generator or expensive external cylinder for synthetic air is required.
The 3-500 is a standard emissions analyzer and therefore optimized for compliance with European specifications EN-12619: 2013. Several different target optimizations for "non-EN-12619: 20136" applications are available upon request.

✗ Compliance control of hydrocarbon sources according to European standard EN 14181 / EN
ISO 14659, EN 12619: 2013, US-EPA 25A method and 503 method.
✗ Monitoring of hydrocarbon emissions from flue gases.
✗ Monitoring of gaseous hydrocarbon emissions.
Monitoring Monitoring of the closing line (perimeter).
✗ Solvent recovery monitor for carbon bed rupture.
✗ Catalytic converter and thermal combustion tests.
✗ Regeneration control of carbon adsorption.
✗ Analysis of gross emissions from exhaust vehicles.
✗ Monitoring of contamination by hydrocarbons in air and other gases.
✗ Detection of traces of hydrocarbons in the purity gases used in the semiconductor To industry.
✗ LEL air monitor loaded with solvents.
✗ Measure the combustion efficiency of the engine.
✗ Monitoring of THC / CH4 emissions from mobile cars in driving conditions. Requires ICM option.
