• Computer-Aided Drug Discovery support

HIT TO LEAD

At the end of this stage, the selected molecule (the “Lead”) should be sufficiently potent to be considered as a starting point for an optimization program.

LEAD OPTIMIZATION

• Medicinal chemistry to select and synthetize new-optimized active compounds and back-up series compounds in close collaboration with the customer.
• Molecular modeling to improve ADME profile and pharmacodynamics properties.
• First batch of material for toxicological evaluation and “in vivo” experiments. At this point, the best compromise is identified as the “Drug Candidate” for development.

PATENT EXEMPLIFICATION

To keep the inflexible patent filing dates and to complete the exemplification to a strict timeline DIVERCHIM offers its customer patent exemplification support. The offered service allows DIVERCHIM’s customers, to concentrate their resources onto new projects and new innovative products while DIVERCHIM performs all related works to exemplification.
 

MOLECULAR MODELING

Molecular modeling allows visualizing in three dimensions the interaction of molecules with a receptor. Through calculation of the physical properties of these compounds, molecules that are incompatible with the desired biological activity can be eliminated. Thus, molecular modeling decreases the research time necessary for the discovery of new molecules. DIVERCHIM proposes modeling studies to their partners.
