Driven Linear Modules Series TLM
The driven linear modules Series TLM are used whenever high degrees of accuracy, noise reduction and velocity are required in a handling system.
Various versions of the driven modules series TLM are available according to the required transmission:
• TLM R - Gothic arch shaped rollers on chrome-plated hardened steel shafts
• TLM G - Recirculating ball slides and sliders
• TLM V - Recirculating balls slides and sliders with screws
The driven linear modules series TLM are composed by the following parts:
• Self-supporting profile
• Carriage
• Drive belt
• Protection plate
• Sliding system
• Motor head
• Idle head
• Supporting profile
It is a special aluminium alloy profile especially designed to integrate all the module components and to achieve high bending and torsion stability. Additionally, special grooves have been designed for the slide mounting or to be used for stops, proximity sensors, etc
• Carriage:
Aluminium made moving unit for sliding components (rollers, sliders, screws) housing.
• Drive Belt:
It is a special AT type toothed belt, with 5 mm pitch. It is made of polyurethane and reinforced with steel strands to increase its loading capacity. This type of belt allows:
- High speed
- Minimum wear
- Low noise level
- Positioning
- High yield
- Protection plate
It is a plastic strip mounted on the idle head motor. It slides within the carriage thus protecting the guide from dust and production wastes infiltrations.
• Sliding system
• Drive Head: Anodized aluminium unit with leading sheave and main shaft housing.
• Idle Head: Anodized aluminium unit with idle pulley and tensioning system housing.
