In shot blast systems with an endless belt conveyor, rotation-symmetric shock- and vibration-sensitive parts (brake-drums, brake discs, wheel rims, etc.) are blast-cleaned in continuous flow, in a reliable and cost-effective process.

Areas of application:

Desanding and descaling of iron parts

Desanding, deburring and surface finishing of light metal parts

Shot peening

Single part weights: 10 – 80 kg

Features:

Part transport through the machine in single pass

Well-defined, consistent blast cleaning of all parts, no impact damages

Simple and safe mode of transport, automatic material flow and shot control

Rotational speed is controlled via vertical inclination of blast barrel (30 – 50°)

Passage speed is controlled via horizontal inclination of the blast barrel (-1°/+1°)

The wear resistant feed-belt is periodically shifted (via spindle-type lifting elements) to prevent uneven wear and tear

High process reliability

Proper shot quality: sand, scale and undersized shot are reliably eliminated

Effective sealing elements prevent shot escape from the machine
