Fully Automatic POF Assembly Machine :
The POF Center 70 is a fully automatic machine for complete processing of Plastic Optical Fiber (POF). The combination of high output rates, unmatched processing quality and user-friendly operation make the POF Center 70 an excellent choice for high-volume production.
Modular Concept :
With the POF Center 70 machine concept, you can organize your production strategy with extreme flexibility: A work cell can be set up with one or more semi-automatic processing modules (e.g. the POF Terminator 30). As production volumes increase or requirements change, additional modules can be added to the work cell - or all processing modules can be integrated in one fully automatic machine - the POF Center 70.
Integrated Quality Control :
Each POF cable is tested for insertion loss before being placed in the stacker. Should a cable assembly not meet the required values, it is automatically destroyed. The insertion loss is done with Schleuniger's OptiTest 10, which is also available as a stand-alone testing device.
User-Friendly Operation :
The POF Center 70 is controlled by an easy to use software package featuring a grapical user interface. All parameters for individual processing modules are controlled centrally. Values for production quantity, cable length, marking text, insertion loss test values, etc. can all be changed in a matter of seconds.

- Surface treatment (POF Finisher 20)
- Ferrule assembly (laser welding with POF Terminator 30)
