The Dust Sentry Pro is a multi-channel particle analyzer for real-time dust and aerosol profiling. This instrument is specifically designed for monitoring outdoor air quality and more specifically dust fractions and particle sizes.
The Dust Sentry Pro provides simultaneous measurement of PM10, PM2.5, PM1, TSP and particle counts for 8 channels: 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 5.0, 10 microns. For monitoring specific particles, see Dust Sentry PM10, Dust Sentry PM2.5 or Dust Sentry TSP.
Options for integrating environmental sensors, such as wind, noise, weather and solar radiation, make it a complete air monitoring solution for your project.
Packaged in a rugged, lockable, weatherproof enclosure, the Dust Sentry Pro is light enough for one-person on-site installations. Built-in solar shielding prevents the housing from overheating in high solar radiation climates.

Smart Technology:
The Dust Sentry Pro includes an optical particle counter that converts counts into mass fraction via an algorithm stored in the system's firmware. Measurements are recorded and reported in real time. The Dust Sentry Pro is configured to display and record particle mass by default. However, there is also an option to configure the instrument to record the number of particles.
The particle counter uses scattered light to measure and count particles. Light from a laser diode is collimated to illuminate the aerosol sample stream. When a particle is present, it scatters the incident laser light which is detected using a 60° solid angle elliptical mirror at right angles to the laser beam. The amount of scattered light is converted into a voltage pulse and the amplitude of the pulse is calibrated to a particle diameter. The particles are thus assigned to one of eight channels according to their size. An integrated temperature sensor corrects for thermal drift and a jacketed air filter keeps the optics clean even in harsh environments.
The instrument includes a built-in PC, up to 20 years of onboard data storage, and powerful air quality monitoring software. With Aeroqual Cloud, you can remotely access data via a web browser on any device, even when your instrument is offline. This includes:
