The VE 7 model is our largest distributed heated FID THC analyzer. It has been manufactured since 1974 and is the very first heated THC analyzer ever to use a permanent back-purge sample filter. It is still the most beloved heated FID in the battery testing community and best known for its legendary ruggedness, forgiveness and long-standing accuracy and sensitivity. The VE7 is one of the very first total hydrocarbon analyzers officially certified for compliance monitoring of stack emissions in Europe. In the United States, a significant part of Method 25A was written around the VE7. Several thousand VE7s have been sold mainly in Europe and the USA.
TÜV has confirmed that it fully complies with QAL 1 (EN 14181 and EN ISO 14956) and EN12619 regulations. They are also fully compliant with USEPA 25A and 503.
The VE7 / OVE
is a 100% identical version at 20% cheaper thanks to the use of a disposable sample filter in the heated oven. With this exception, the VE7 / OVE is a 100% identical analyzer.
