Enables coatings to be applied to hard, smooth surfaces which would usually reject paint. Avoid using any coating which includes a strong solvent. For more information, please download a product datasheet from the quick links below.
 
Recommended areas of use
  • Priming power floated, very smooth or non porous concrete floors which are prone to rejecting paint
  • Clear Powerfloat Primer can be used on clear ceramic tiles before application of Watco Protecta-Coat

Powerfloat Primer curing times:
The following is based on good ventilation and a floor temperature of 15 -20°C
 
  • With all epoxy coatings such as Watco Epoxy Gloss Coat or Safety Coat: Allow the Primer to dry for 16 hours, but no longer than 72 hours before overcoating
  • With Watco Concrete Floor Paint, Flexicoat and Safety Grip Flex: Allow the Primer to dry for at least 5 days before overcoating
  • With polyaspartic coatings such as Cold Set Coating or Safety Coat Cold Cure: Allow the primer to dry for at least 16 hours but no longer than 72 hours before overcoating
