Tetra Pak® Pneumatic Conveyor VDP FD is designed to convey very fragile products.

The low velocity ensures a minimal product break down, fat migration, loss of shininess.

It can also be used to convey mixes of products with a minimum alteration of mixed homogeneity.

Working principle

A vacuum pump will vacuum the conveying line. When vacuum is reached, inlet powder valve is opened. Powder is conveyed to a receiving hopper at a low and controlled velocity thanks to an air flow controlled valve.

The receiving hopper is continually discharging to the next step of the process through a rotary valve.
