Millions of Ceramdisc® ceramic seal discs have worked for decades in nearly every country around the world: They control and regulate the amount and temperature of water in mixing units and single-handle mixers and two-handle faucets reliably, precisely, comfortably and conveniently. Ceramdisc® ceramic discs made from wear-resistant advanced ceramics provide the perfect seal and their sliding properties ensure maximum functionality, dependability and operating comfort.
In addition to Ceramdisc® ceramic discs, CeramTec also produces a comprehensive portfolio of cartridges for single-handle mixers, mixing units and water faucets – both for OEM cartridges for OEM sanitary fitting manufacturers and the open market. All CeramTec cartridges have one thing in common: They are made in Germany exclusively from high-grade materials; sanitary fitting cartridges are produced at CeramTec’s Lauf and Wittlich sites.
One of CeramTec’s very own developments is the triduon® family of cartridges, which are currently available as triduon® performance in standard versions with 35 mm or 40 mm diameters and as triduon® thermo models in a thermostat version. The triduon® thermo cartridge is a cartridge with active scalding protection for single-handle faucets and helps prevent scalding by limiting the maximum supply water temperature in faucets and mixing units, e.g. in sinks, showers or bidets.
