The Spin Welder SWP 06 has been designed and manufactured using state-of-the-art technologies (CAD, CNC).
With this technology it is possible to weld parts made of most thermoplastic materials, having circular shapes.
For spin welding technology, the heat necessary for the fusion of the parts is being produced by a rotating motion combined with thrust pressure.
One of the parts to be welded is held by a fixture, whereas the other one is put in motion by a rotating spindle. The assembling process is therefore easy and based on very comprehensible known physic principles. The mechanical and electrical solutions adopted grant optimum working conditions with extensive adjustment possibilities, as a result making this welder suitable for a varied range of applications.
The welder structure is very strong. The motor driving the rotating spindle is a brushless type. The motion of the transducer holder head is achieved with a pneumatic system run by a proportional valve, and on high precision prismatic guides.
One of the most important features of this welder is certainly the cycle control system totally run by a MICROPROCESSOR.
It is possible to weld with time mode, torsion mode or even with distance mode. In this case, the welding height is controlled by encoder with centesimal resolution.
It is very important that the rotating spindle can stop in a precise angular position with an error of +/- 1 degree. Using this feature we can weld parts having a geometric shape with reference angle.
For every cycle phase, descent, welding and solidification, it is possible to program different thrust pressures. With this microprocessor you can store 10 different welding programs.
