CFO color sensors are used for precise color detection in industrial measurement tasks. The CFO series is characterized by high color accuracy, modern interfaces and an intuitive operating concept. The CFO sensors with integrated fiber optics are connected to the controller and can be adapted to different measuring tasks.

Color can also be used as an indirect quantity to control the process. For example, color sensors are used to monitor the presence of an adhesive bead, to sort parts or to determine the active ingredients. In most cases, color sensors are the most cost-effective solution because they offer greater accuracy than conventional switching sensors.

The sophisticated CFO controller can detect even the smallest differences in color. Its powerful light source combined with the fiber optic sensors allows distinction on dark surfaces as well as on shiny, reflective and structured metals.
