RUPEX elastic coupling

Principle:

Elastic pin coupling with positive connection. Robust construction, it dampens sudden torque variations while accepting misalignment of trees.
 
Application areas :

All general mechanical applications but rather for heavy industrial applications: conveyors, lifting systems, cable cars, fans, archimedes screws, mixers, etc.
 
Characteristics :

The RUPEX coupling consists of 2 cast iron or steel hubs and steel pins that receive elastomer sleeves. The pins are fixed on the hubs on one side or alternately and engage in the holes of the corresponding antagonistic parts.
The standard elastic sleeves are Perbunan with a hardness of 80 Shore A. Sleeves of another hardness or different material are available for special applications (electrical insulation, low temperature operation, etc.).

Fully machined, it has a good balancing and requires virtually no maintenance.The elastic sleeves are replaceable without moving connected machines. Thanks to its robust construction and its positive connection, it is particularly well suited for lifting type.It is available in 23 sizes and 6 basic versions for torques from 210 to 1 300 000 Nm.Many construction variants are available on request: with axial backlash limitation, disengaged when stopped, with prestressed sleeves etc.

Most versions can be used in potentially explosive areas according to 94/9 / EC (ATEX 95) and are available on request with the appropriate marking.
