The Roller Optic for the LineBeam generates a 30 mm wide line with constant power density distribution. This enables the production of constant weld seam widths and strengths. The optic can be mounted on a conventional LineBeam if it is configured accordingly.
As with the Globo Optic, the contact pressure is transmitted via a laterally mounted pneumatic cylinder. Together with the pendulum roller technology, small surface irregularities are thus compensated.
