RoadMonitor; In-vehicle temperature & humidity measuring unit

The RoadMonitor multi-sensor box from E2I Solutions has been specially developed for mobile applications measuring temperature and humidity on the ground and in the ambient air, in order to predict and/or prevent frost episodes on the road.
 
Its IP67 enclosure includes several sensors (humidity sensor, pyrometer, PT100) whose data are processed by an STM32 microcontroller from ST Microelectronics. In particular, it can calculate the dew point in real time.

Measuring accuracies are respectively:
- air temperature measurement accuracy; +/-0.3°C
- ambient air humidity measurement accuracy; +/-2% RH over the range 10 to 90% RH
- asphalt temperature measurement accuracy: +/- 0.5°C (over the range -20°C to +10°C)

Finally, it features a Bluetooth connection and can also be run under Android.

Supplied with a voltage range from 9V to 36V, it currently comes as standard with a power cord that can be plugged into a cigar lighter. A USB cable is also available as an option.

Its use on vehicles (cars or trucks) has been validated for speeds of up to 130km/h
