New connector F'Clip by MECATRACTION : fixing time approximately 5 times faster than traditional methods

MECATRACTION, the specialist for connection solutions, launches F’Clip, which offers a quick and safe innovative solution for equipotential bonding of basket type cable trays - No tools are required. This is a patented system, dedicated to the electrical installations in the industrial and service sector with a fixing time approximately 5 times faster than bolted solutions (clamp type).

Equipotential bonding between the cable tray and an uninsulated earthing conductor is desirable and often necessary to avoid any risk of electric shock. This operation requires good preparation and the appropriate tooling and time. Usually, this requires one or two minutes. With F'Clip, the installation takes approximately only 15 seconds. You just have to clip the F’Clip onto the basket type cable tray, and then to clip the uninsulated earthing conductor to the F'Clip. The assembly and the connection are made instantly and without the use of any tools.

F’Clip is qualified according to the standard EN 60439-1.

MECATRACTION presents the SOLFIL+ range: new insulation displacement connectors for equipotential bonding.
SOLFIL+ allows some flexibility in the positioning even when the access and space requirements could imply a difficult mounting. No prior stripping of the cable is required.
PATENTED INSULATION DISPLACEMENT CONNECTORS:
The SOLFIL+ range of connectors offers a convenient solution to most of installation requirements without the need for prior preparation of the equipotential bonding cable.
A simple powered screwdriver is the only tool required.
The SOLFIL+ range meets the requirements of UL 1703 and UTE C15-712 tandards.
AN ELECTRICAL CONTACT OF QUALITY:
The equipotential bonding of photovoltaic panels is provided:
- by tapping thanks to the thread pattern of the stainless steel fixing screw, which creates the contact with the aluminium frame.
- thanks to the 2 stainless steel blades which cut and displace the cable insulation, a reliable contact is made with the conductor.
This technology achieves a contact of excellent quality, even the difficulty of an anodized surface on the panel does not present a problem.
This SOLFIL+ technology allows an individual frame to be disconnected without lessening the integrity of the connections to the other frames or the equipotential bond connecting them.
