KOHLSCHEIN at the FESPA 2025 in Berlin

From 6 to 9 May 2025, FESPA, Europe’s leading exhibition for large-format printing, screen printing and digital printing, will take place in Berlin, and KOHLSCHEIN will once again be exhibiting. With a clear focus on environmentally friendly board materials, the manufacturer will showcase its versatile product portfolio and exciting innovations at FESPA.

In addition to well-established bestsellers such as KROMA® Displayboard, KROMA® All Black and KROMA® Outdoor, visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to discover the latest products, including STUDIOCARD® PRO, KROMA® Kraft NEW and KORE BOARD.

STUDIOCARD® PRO is a very smooth, bright white board made from 100% paper fibres and is a sustainable, fibre-based alternative to plastic sheets thanks to its outstanding material properties. Its excellent strength and high flatness make STUDIOCARD® PRO the ideal material for signs, displays, loyalty cards, door hangers and more – whether produced via digital printing, screen printing or offset printing. STUDIOCARD® PRO is FSC®-certified and available in sizes from 1020 x 720 mm to 1000 x 2000 mm.

KROMA® Kraft NEW is a display board featuring natural brown kraft top liners that are both authentic and aesthetically appealing, with a light-coloured woodpulp core from 1.5 mm thickness. This combination gives the material a high-quality look and feel. Typical applications include large-format digital printing, signs, displays, packaging solutions and many other creative uses. KROMA® Kraft NEW is FSC®-certified and available in sizes from 700 x 1000 mm to 1400 x 3000 mm.

KORE BOARD is a versatile paperboard with a thickness of 1.6 mm, designed for three-dimensional POS/POP displays, such as decorative cubes, pedestals, podiums and high-end packaging solutions. The bright white top layer is perfect for direct digital and screen printing. Thanks to its excellent printability, high stability and lightweight properties, KORE BOARD is suitable for a wide range of applications. It is FSC®-certified and available in a size of 1,200 x 1,620 mm.

What all three new product innovations have in common: they are 100% fibre-based, FSC®-certified and fully recyclable – meaning they can be disposed of easily and cost-effectively with waste paper. All KOHLSCHEIN materials impress with their versatile applications, outstanding printability and processing properties, making them the perfect choice for premium display and packaging projects.

At FESPA, visitors to the KOHLSCHEIN booth will get detailed insights into the company's extensive product portfolio. As in previous years, there will be exciting live demonstrations by selected partners, where visitors can see the excellent processing properties of the materials first-hand. KOHLSCHEIN at Fachpack 2024: Sustainable paperboards in a wide range of variations

The manufacturer of environmentally friendly cardboard qualities and sheet materials will once again be exhibiting at FachPack this year. From 24 to 26 September 2024, the company will be presenting its extensive product range and new highlights.

The KOHLSCHEIN trade fair motto for this year's Fachpack is "Sustainable material diversity" and is reflected in the wide range of high-quality cartonboard qualities, the attractive material combinations and many formats and thicknesses.

In Nuremberg, visitors will learn more about the bestsellers KROMA® Displayboard, KROMA® All Black and EKA Woodpulp Board as well as other new products. Two new highlights from the KROMA® product family are KROMA® White-Black-White and KROMA® Grass Top. Both products impressively demonstrate KOHLSCHEIN's ability to constantly develop new and exciting board creations.

KROMA® White-Black-White is a high-quality cellulose paperboard with high stability and very good flatness. The cartonboard has identical white surfaces on both sides and a deep black core. It is lightfast, FSC®-certified and fully recyclable. The two-colour cut edge and the eye-catching look of the premium board are perfect for luxury packaging, signs, POS displays & hangtags.

KROMA® Grass Top is an FSC®-certified and 100% recyclable display paperboard with top layers of grass paper and a core of grey cardboard. The surfaces with visible grass fibres give the material a special and eye-catching look. In combination with the grey core, KROMA® Grass Top is an ideal product for display stands, ceiling hangers and signs at the POS as well as for applications where a natural look and feel is required.

Another new products is STUDIOCARD® Pro. The bright white mono material with identical surfaces is characterised by its outstanding resistance and good printability and is an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic materials for gift cards, POS and display purposes where strength and sustainability are important. Made from 100% renewable raw materials, the premium paperboard is FSC-certified and available in thicknesses of 0.6 and 0.7 mm (630 and 815 g/m2).

KOHLSCHEIN is also known for its innovative solutions in the field of industrial packaging thanks to its many years of expertise and modern machinery. Various paper and cardboard qualities can be laminated in multiple layers and coated with VCI paper or foam, e.g. for transport interlayers.

At the KOHLSCHEIN booth visitors can learn all about the wide product range and additional converting services. Numerous application examples and take-away samples will demonstrate KOHLSCHEIN's expertise in the development and processing of paper fibre-based materials.

The German-based manufacturer of environmentally friendly paper boards and distributor of other rigid media in Germany and Switzerland is exhibiting at FESPA again this year. From 23rd to 26th May 2023, the company will present its new highlights and the large product range.

In addition to bestsellers such as KROMA® Displayboard, KROMA® All Black, KROMA® Kraft etc. visitors will learn more about the new products KROMA® All White, KROMA® Inkjet Pro Matt as well as the ultra-stable paperboard SWEDBOARD® Fibre Premium.

KROMA® All White is a bright white premium paperboard with high rigidity & excellent flatness. This solid coloured board is produced from renewable raw materials, is FSC®-certified and fully recyclable. Due to its high material thicknesses of up to 3 mm and the bright white cutting edges, it is the ideal material for high-quality/luxury packaging & fashion tags.

In addition KOHLSCHEIN will present KROMA® Inkjet Pro Matt, a bright white high-quality paperboard for inkjet digital printing with high bulk and excellent print results. The matt surfaces, optimised for water-based inks, enable high colour saturation, sharp contrasts and short drying times. KROMA® Inkjet Pro Matt is available in thicknesses from 0.5 to 2.5 mm in 700 x 1000 mm.

In the field of wholesale products, KOHLSCHEIN adds SWEDBOARD® Fibre Premium to its range of paper- & honeycomb boards. The double-sided white board with PE-coated surfaces in combination with a sinusoidal honeycomb core has excellent strength and high stability. SWEDBOARD® Fibre Premium is ideal for POS displays and other 3D applications where precise V-cuts and high stability are required. Available from stock in 10 mm and 16 mm in the formats 1220 x 2440 mm and 1600 x 3050 mm.

Fespa visitors can find out more about the entire product range at the KOHLSCHEIN booth and, as in previous years, experience the outstanding printing and cutting properties of the materials during live demonstrations at selected partners on site.
