Hexagon announces the release of Intergraph Smart® 3D Version 14 with new interface, digital twin integration and expanded API capabilities
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division today announced the release of Intergraph Smart
® 3D version 14, the latest iteration of its enterprise-level design software for industrial facilities of any scale.
Designed to meet mission-critical project needs, this latest release offers a comprehensive range of capabilities for designing facilities and maintaining accurate 3D “as-built” representations, supporting the entire asset lifecycle for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms and owner -operators.
Key Features and Benefits of Intergraph Smart 3D Version 14
-
Improved 3D Modeling with Rules and Relationships: Smart 3D’s dual interface comprises both the classic and the new user interface, designed to enhance user productivity. The new modern user interface includes productivity eEnhancements across various tasks – such as ducting, electrical, equipment, hanger & supports, piping, structural, and space management – to further streamline the modeling process.
-
Enhanced Digital Twin Capabilities: Smart 3D strengthens its digital twin capabilities by integrating with Hexagon’s Digital Backbone and HxGN SDx2, its recently unveiled cloud-native digital twin solution. This integration allows for the seamless sharing [CL1] of objects and properties supporting more informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
-
Expanded API Capabilities: Smart 3D version 14 introduces new APIs for user and administrator workflows, providing web access to data and enabling efficient administration of the Smart 3D environment.
-
Enhanced Deliverable Management: This new version introduces several advanced deliverable management capabilities:. Drawings can now be generated in a batch queue, allowing users to perform other tasks simultaneously. Deleted objects are traceable and documented via a tombstone XML file. Also, Super Users can now restrict access to orthographic and isometric drawing documents and data using security codes (i.e., proprietary, restricted, unclassified).
-
Infrastructure Flexibility: This release introduces a new 64-bit user interface, allowing for more efficient processing and management of substantial data compared to older 32-bit systems. It also offers flexible deployment options, including Software as a Service (SaaS) via Intergraph Smart® Cloud, public cloud hosting and on-premises solutions, supporting both staandalone and global workshare environments.
