Sustainable developmentMiribel, France, November 9, 2023 – DKSH France, a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients for the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, has been recognized with the platinum medal from the sustainability rating agency EcoVadis for the second time. According to their independent assessment method, DKSH France ranks within the top 1 percent of the best-rated companies in France for their ethical practices as well as social and environmental performance. EcoVadis’ methodology rates companies according to different sustainability criteria divided into the four principal areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics as well as sustainable procurement.
The recognition awards the results of the company's actions over several years to advance business practices in line with sustainability, one of DKSH Group's core corporate values. The company's strategy is based on four fundamental pillars: employee development, sustainable supply chains, carbon neutrality and positive local impact.
DKSH France has scored the Platinum award this year by taking additional actions including:

Special chemistryDKSH has entered an exclusive distribution agreement with Elementis for personal care applications in the French market.
Miribel, October 1, 2020 – DKSH will provide sales and marketing, distribution, logistics and customer management for Elementis’ entire range of specialty ingredients for personal care products, including antiperspirant actives, in France.
Elementis is a leading producer of specialty personal care ingredients. As a recognized expert in rheology, Elementis is also a global leader in antiperspirant actives. Elementis' portfolio of green products includes natural clay rheology modifiers and bio-functional active ingredients.
After a long-standing 40-year relationship with DKSH, Elementis has once again entrusted DKSH to grow its personal care business. This is thanks to DKSH’s extensive distribution network, strong capabilities in sales, marketing and logistics, its large customer base of personal care and cosmetics manufacturers in France and its proven track record as a strategic partner in many key Asian and European markets.
