The news of AKIS

AKIS has provided and installed a sliding frame silo for sludge for the new Waste Water Treatment Plant of Aubenas, in France.

With a capacity of 70m³, the silo is equipped with a very efficient extraction system. A hydraulic-powered sliding frame scrapes the bottom of the silo, under which are placed two discharge screw conveyors with pneumatic valves.
This allows trucks to be loaded quickly and evenly. This system is suitable for any type of dehydrated sludge.

AKIS took part in the project from the beginning to its fulfilment, by providing its expertize in the choosing of the extraction solution and its designing, then for the production, delivery and mounting. The assembly inluded the silo itself, as well as the extraction system and the walkway.
