Highly reactive micronized calcium oxide is used as a dehydrating agent in different formulations.
 
Coated varieties of precipitated calcium carbonate (CALPREC PR) are used as rheology modifiers in a wide variety of sealants, particularly in PVC plastisol formulations used in the automotive industry. Their use considerably simplifies the design of new formulations thanks to their easy dispersion, their high yield strength and their low viscosity.
 
CALPREC PR is also used in other sealant formulations such as: polyurethanes, MS polymers, polysulfides, epoxies, etc.
