Natural zeolites, also called sedimentary, are aluminosilicate and hydrated minerals, of the tectosilicate type, composed of alkaline and alkaline earth elements.
Having a crystalline structure, zeolites are used as moisture absorbers and various other molecules. They then find their place in the building sectors (dimensional stones and pozzolanic additives for cements), agriculture and livestock, and environmental protection, and are also used for the treatment and filtration of the water.
These crystalline aluminosilicates are distinguished by their exceptional property of exchanging ions, which facilitates the absorption of mercury, nickel, cadmium, arsenic and allows the release of minerals healthy for the body such as calcium, magnesium or phosphates.
