The new M270 mobile handheld computer is – like its predecessor the M260TE – particularly suitable for scan-intensive activities within logistics and industry. As operating system with the M270 on the safe and very stable Android™ Industrial+ is fallen back, in order to ensure even in rough storage environments sufficient system stability. As usual, the M270 covers numerous areas of application – mainly within logistics and industry. These include order picking in the warehouse and working in incoming and outgoing goods.
Wide range of equipment variants
The variety of equipment variants already familiar from the M260TE, as well as its robustness and ergonomic handling, offer the user exactly those features and functionalities that are important in mobile use.
These include the familiar hard-shell fast-entry keyboard for input-intensive processes, various scanner variants (short-range/mid-range/long range), a quick-change battery with simple locking mechanism, as well as a handle and strap. Further special features of the mobile handheld computer are the high-resolution VGA display with capacitive touch screen for the usual touch operation and Android™ Industrial+, also BT Low Energy (> 4.0) and BT Classic for coupling with the ACD backhand scanner HasciSE.
