The action of water and harmful elements (especiall y acids) leads to a progressive loss of cohesion in mineral substrates.
DORTHZ STOP helps restore the original mechanical properties o f the substrate without altering gas permeability. The reaction of DORTHZ STOP with the carbon dioxide present in the air causes silica gel and silica to form, which consolidate the material and permanently block capillaries that cause rising damp.
DORTHZ STOP helps mitigate the issue of rising damp. Saltpetre and mould disappear as materials dehydrat e.
DORTHZ STOP uses moisture as a carrier to reach deep into the m aterials.
