They might be power misers, but when it comes to performance; our low-power, small RTU products have all the power and features of their larger Kingfisher cousins.
Optimized for the unique conditions associated with low-power installations, such as solar, the LP-2 and LP-3 feature advanced power saving algorithms and techniques. The LP-2 and LP-3 can be programmed to 'sleep', and shut down all non-essential external devices. When an event occurs, the RTU instantly wakes up and starts processing information. In addition, the LP-2 and LP-3 can be programmed to periodically report internal diagnostic status to verify normal operating conditions.
Special Note For LP-1 Users
For users of the Kingfisher LP-1, please note that the LP-2 and LP-3 are completely compatible, including the programming environment. Since the LP-1 is no longer available, please select the LP-2 or LP-3 model that is appropriate to your application. The LP-3 is distinguished from the LP-2 by the included analog output and Port 3 option.
