Designed to detect the presence of harmful gases over long distances, the QUASAR 900 analyses the atmosphere in the detection area by comparing it with the atmosphere in another healthy area. 
 
Consisting of an infrared source and receiver that can be separated by up to 200 metres, the SafEye Linear Barrier is capable of replacing up to 20 fixed-point gas detectors. 
 
Only two devices need to be installed, using 1 long-life consumable. This saves enormous investment and maintenance costs.  
 
With a detection range of between 7 and 200 m depending on the model, the QUASAR 900 safety device is capable of identifying a multitude of hydrocarbon gases and recording up to 100 events in real time. 
 
ATEX certified and guaranteed for 3 years, this fixed gas detector operates in temperatures between - 55 and + 65°C. 
 
Dimensions are 267 x 130 x 130mm (Transmitter/Receiver) and 120 x 120 x 158mm (Mounting ball).
