Level sensor - ultrasonic - contactless

EGE offers ultrasonic sensors with up to 600 cm distance from the medium surface, ultrasonic sensors for applications in humid environments in protection class IP 68, IP 69, and ultrasonic sensors in small compact designs. Ultrasonic sensors continuously issue an ultrasonic pulse. The ultrasonic signal is reflected at the medium surface. The filling level is continuously calculated from the runtime of the echo of an ultrasonic pulse. The sensors output PNP switching signals or a 4...25 mA signal. Ultrasonic sensors are particularly suited for applications where no media contact with the sensor is desired or the sensor cannot be installed from the side or in the immediate vicinity of the medium for design reasons.
