KwikBlue4 Module Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR

Embedding the Socket Mobile KwikBlue4 Module expands the personal network of your device, enabling it to wirelessly connect to Bluetooth enabled products including headsets, printers and PCs. The KwikBlue4 is a small but powerful Class 1 Bluetooth module with a radio range up to 100 meters (300 feet); its low power consumption means optimal battery life for your product. It works in systems running the Microsoft Bluetooth stack.

The KwikBlue4 Module is a compact 40-pin SMD with an on-board antenna or external antenna connection point; it supports serial UART or USB interfaces. It is Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, providing advanced features such as Adaptive Frequency Hopping and extended SCO. The KwikBlue4 Module is Bluetooth-WLAN coexistence ready.

The standard KwikBlue4 Module provides the HCI to an external Bluetooth stack. A custom version, the Virtual Machine, is available which supports specific Bluetooth profiles or firmware customization of features like security. The KwikBlue4 Module has FCC Modular approval which can speed the certification process for your product
