The EFS 8412 module is designed for use with the Injetvision test bench which analyzes diesel or petrol jets automatically by image processing.
It also drives the injector by means of the IPoD power module as well as driving the camera, the fog extraction system and the light sources (laser or stroboscopic).
The ICU system provides the command signals for driving an injector and all the equipment necessary for obtaining the images. It also requires the addition of a power module adapted to the type of injector being driven, either an IPoD coil (for solenoid type injectors) or an IPoD piezo (for piezo-electric injectors).
The ICU system drives the injector with a time resolution of 0,1 µs. It can command from 1 to 10 injections per revolution at frequencies of between 0.1 and 10 Hertz.It can operate in 2 different modes: « Signal generator » mode or « Synchronized » mode.
