Infrared SUNRAD Emitters is suitable for great radiant efficiency, thanks to the very high temperature of its emitting surface (900°C) and to its small dimensions.
SUNRAD emitters can be installed at considerable height (up to 30 m) considering they are provided with a reflector concentrating the radiation power.
Heating by incandescent heaters is the best technique for large and high rooms.
The heater consists of a Venturi pipe and a gas injector. Gas injection speed causes a drop in pressure so that the quantity of air required for correct burning is drawn in. The air-gas mixture is delivered to the mixing chamber and is spread along the entire surface of the heat exchanger.
The latter consists of a set of ceramic plates, which, warmed to a high temperature, overheat and radiate the surface areas below. The heater is equipped with a mirror reflector for directing radiation.
Incandescent heaters can be used in foundries, open areas such as canopies, goods loading and unloading areas, extremely high rooms, etc.
For indoor applications, burned gas can be exhausted either through a discharge system or inside the room itself, providing mechanical ventilation or through natural ventilation according to the EN131410 standard. Incandescent heaters are the perfect solution for churches – in fact, SUNRADs are not only on the cutting edge of technology but also beautifully styled. That’s why they have been accepted by the Italian National Institute of Fine Arts.
