The ICR803 is an image-based code reader for 1D and 2D codes. It includes LED illumination, imaging technology, and a RS-232 or USB interface in a compact housing. It can read all standard linear, stacked, 2D, and GS1 (RSS) codes and also supports image acquisition.

The ICR803 can read codes in any orientation. Because of its omni-directional capabilities, accurate code alignment is not necessary.

The ICR803 series can be integrated into various devices including robot systems, access systems, and interactive point-of-sale terminals. It can be triggered manually or with what is know as presentation mode. It is also possible to send serial commands to the ICR.
